Who we are

We are a collective of independent consultants (members), collaborating for the benefit of our clients.

We bring the highest quality of consulting to our members’ clients by running regular design critiques and push-the-thinking sessions, elevating the quality of our work and helping members improve their craft. We share resources and provide a safe and friendly space for collegiality in what can otherwise be a lonely space of independent consulting.

Members include leading experts who might have many years of experience and prefer working independently while enjoying the support of a larger organisation without the burden - politics, bureaucracy, internal pressures etc.

Other members include people seeking part-time or casual work that want to utilise their professional experience and skills. For these folks, The Collective provides meaningful, challenging and rewarding projects with great clients and colleagues.

Some of our members are contractors, working on-site with clients. However, they want to be part of a community for support, to learn from, and to be part of something bigger. They benefit from the collective intelligence and experience of the diverse community of experts.

As a collective, we often join forces and respond to larger opportunities that require more capacity or specific skills or experiences beyond what any individual can respond to alone.
